The People

Group CEO – Anthony Goodwin

Co-founder Anthony worked as a cost consultant delivering MRO integration and inventory management to large manufacturing organisations prior to forming Propeller in 2001. During his time in the cost down arena, he identified a disconnect between consultancy delivery and implementation of identified strategies. As a result, he was instrumental in the development of the model which Propeller utilises today, offering free of charge upfront consultancy backed up by implementation of targeted solutions.

Managing Director – Carl Brookes

Co-founder Carl Brookes has been involved in the supply of MRO for over 25 years prior to Propeller. With a track record of establishing key contracts with major customers, Carl has a tremendous depth of knowledge and understanding of the market from both a supply chain and sales perspective. A dedicated professional he is totally customer focused and believes that service is key to all areas of business.

Sales Director – Peter Oram

Peter has worked in industrial distribution and supply for over 15 years. He has successfully generated new business, led company strategy and delivered customer satisfaction to global companies across many sectors. A dynamic self motivated individual with a 'no nonsense' approach, Peter has excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels. He is fully committed and driven to achieve the best possible customer service.

Commercial Director - Catherine Young

Catherine qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and then worked for Price Waterhouse for 11 years before joining the head office of Reg Vardy PLC in a finance role. Catherine joined Propeller from RSM Tenon, the 7th largest firm of accountants in the UK, where she was a director. Catherine is also a member of the audit committee at the University of Sunderland and is chair of the audit committee of the national charity, Breast Cancer Care.

Technology Director – Jon Elwell

Jon has been with Propeller since March 2006 and began his career as a trainee engineer with the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, spending a further 5 years in design and fabrication in general engineering. For the last 10 Years Jon has been working in the field of inventory control systems integration, working with global blue chip organisations to develop hardware and software solutions for there varied and specialised requirements. With an unswerving commitment to system excellence and process improvement, Jon has overseen and completed every project with maximum results and is assisting in the developing world class solutions at the cutting edge of inventory management.
